Definition

You can use this field to specify the medium on which the report group reports are to be output.

Possible entries:

'0'

Screen or printer

'1'

Text file on the application server, in other words, the computer on which the SAP System runs.

'2'

Text file on the presentation server, in other words, the computer on which you are working, for example, a personal computer (PC). This allows you to store a report directly on your PC, and continue processing there.

'3'

Screen or department printer. If a department printer is defined in the master data (for example, for the cost center), and can be uniquely determined for the current report, this printer is used. Otherwise, the output is the same as with medium '0'.

'4'

Exception:

When varying a report group, only the media '0' (printer only), '1' and '3' are currently supported.
