Identifier for an Offshore Logistics supply process.

Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Offshore Logistics) -> Supply chain -> Supply processes -> Define supply processes.
Description (only in IS-Oil Offshore Logistics systems)
The supply process is vital to the Offshore Logistics system. It is used to control logistics functions such as automatic creation of deliveries, update of T/O quantites and conversion of transport requisitions
Four basic supply processes are provided with the system:
- Material stocked onshore and offshore
- Material stocked onshore only
- Material stocked offshore only
- Material not stocked anywhere
but more processes may be defined as required.
Each supply process has several control parameters associated with it. The control parameters control aspects of functionality such as
- On goods receipt �
- Grouping strategy
- Automatic delivery
- Automatic initial packing
- Update T/O quantity if necessary
- On conversion of transport requisition �
- Create Transport Order
- Create Purchase Order
The determination of supply process is usually based solely on MRP (material requirements planning) type, but there MRP group in the determination as well.
