Definition
An alphanumeric key that uniquely identifies the TSW Transport System.
A Transport System is a single, in-transit, storage location (plant+storage location). A transport system should always have two or more locations assigned to it.
Use
A transport system is used to model the supply chain and represents the the means by which product moves from one location to the next. The transport system can represent a fixed supply route that can be operated by a single carrier.
Example
Typical examples of a transport system would be a complete pipeline or a marine route.
Supplementary Documentation - OIJ_TSYST 0002
Use
According to the TSW partner role type, a transport system has to be entered. It is necessary for the following:
- TSW001 - Carrier
- TSW002 - Shipper
- TSW003 - Supplier
- TSW004 - Supplier in pipe
- TSW005 - Receiver
- TSW006 - Receiver in pipe
- TSW007 - Consignee
- TSW008 - Tanker
- TSW010 - Breakout S/L - locational
- TSW011 - Breakout S/L - notional
Procedure
Enter the TSW transport sytem that you would like to enter. You can use the F4 function key to obtain a list of possible entries.
Note
Partner role types TSW003/5/8 and TSW010 also require the input of a location. After this field has been filled, the system checks the assignment between the TSW Transport System and the TSW location.
If no assignment exists, you then will have to choose a valid transport system.
