Definition

A 10 character field which sets the input mask for all nominations made with reference to the transport system. Input validation is carried out on a field by field basis according to the code character present in each field. The following values are supported for code characters:

• + = any alpha character
• . = any numeric character
• * = any alphanumeric character
• Any other character = literal placement of that character in that position.

Examples

A nomination mask of 'COL......' would only permit an entry beginning with the three characters 'COL' followed by 6 numerics and one blank. If the entire nomination mask field is left blank no no input validation occurs.

Dependencies

Nomination IDs entered for a transport system with a nomination mask defined will be validated according to this mask.
