Definition
The cycle duration is the length of time in days used to schedule the flow of product in a pipeline.
The cycle duration determines that a particular product should be scheduled to pass a certain point (which could be an injection point or a delivery point) on a certain day, and that the next batch of the same product should be at the same point a number of days later.
Use
This is used to predict future pipeline movement dates for planning purposes. It is rectricted to DAY only.
