Definition
The external tracking number is a statistical field for input of a reference number in two-step plant-to-plant transfer tracking. The value can be entered when a tracking number is first created. Once the value is entered, it is copied across to all other movements under that tracking number.
This field can be turned on/off in the two-step transfer control table, using the check external number field.
