Definition
In the following transactions, you can enter an additional vehicle, which is to be relevant for shipment costing:
o Create shipment (O4F1)
o Change shipment (O4F2)
o Maintain completed shipment (O4L4)
o Shipment Planning Workbech (O4PP)
If you enter a vehicle that is relevant for shipment costing, the system checks if the mode of transport for the shipment cost relevant vehicle is identical to that for the other vehicle. If there are differences between the vehicles, the system displays an error message.
Use
One reason for entering a shipment cost relevant vehicle could be that you have agreed on certain shipment costs but later have to change the vehicle used for the shipment. In this case, you enter the original vehicle as the shipment cost relevant vehicle.
