Vehicle types are used to group characteristics for a vehicle. In customizing, various vehicle types can be set up to represent specific classes of vehicle.
Use
You can assign vehicle types during the 'create vehicle' transaction, as part of master data entry for TD. The vehicle type provides default values for vehicle mode of transport and units of measure for weight and volume.
