Definition
The name of the customer making the sales order.
If the customer structure is complex, then this name can be either the sold-to party or ship-to party. When the ship-to party is entered, the sold-to party is determined using the partner functions defined in the customer master database.
Procedure
To enter a sold-to party, make sure that the partner role field is SP.
To enter a ship-to party, make sure that the partner role field is SH.
The default customer partner role is the sold-to party.
