Definition

This field is used to determine the type of message to be applied when a contract restriction is triggered by the terms of the call-off. The message type field can only be entered when the relevant restriction is set to active in the status field.

The possible values define what action the system takes:

' ' - No action taken
'E' - Error message - You have to comply with the restriction
'W' - Warning message - You are warned of the violation
'I' - Information messsage - You are informed of the violation

In cases where a call-off is referenced to multiple contracts, the most severe message type is applied for each restriction.
