Definition

Activates document change management (DCM) for invoices.

Use

When you select this indicator, document change management is active from the delivery process through the billing process. By using the relevant version number you can, within the document flow, make changes to the delivery with reference to the invoice.

Dependencies

In Customizing, you must activate document change management for billing types.

Example

• When DCM is active:

  Delivery (8000123): Version number (8000123-01)

  Invoice (9000123): Version number (9000123-01)

• After you have made changes:

  Delivery (8000123): Version number (8000123-02)

  Differential invoice (9000124): Version number (9000123-02)
