Definition
This field is used as one of two possible ways to determine the quotation average period. The reference date is the base date from which the average period is determined. It can be offset to a related date, and a period of time measured in different units can be applied both before and after. The reference date (or offset reference date) can also be excluded from the average period under certain conditions.
The other way of determining the average period is to fix the start and end dates using the Fix date from and Fix date to fields.
