Documentation
Definition
This field contains the sum of all converted daily quotation prices for the average period. The sum is based on the currency, pricing unit, and unit of measure combination, in which the average quotation price has to be calculated.
This field is only used and filled in the case of rate-based Formula and Average evaluation (new since release 4.6B).
If the currency, the pricing unit, or the unit of measure for the daily quotation price in the quotation table is different from the corresponding currency, pricing unit, or unit of measure for the average quotation price, a conversion is needed for the daily quotation price. All these converted daily quotation prices of the relevant period are summed. The result of that summation is contained in this field.
If the currency, the pricing unit, and the unit of measure are all the same for the daily quotation price in the quotation table and for the average quotation price, this field contains the sum of the daily quotation prices of the relevant period.
Example
If you average over the 3 quotation prices:
320.00 USD / (1 TO)
400.00 USD / (1 TO)
280.00 USD / (1 TO)
The sum of the 3 quotation prices is:
320.00 + 400.00 + 280.00 = 1000.00
[all values in USD / (1 TO)]
This field contains the value '1,000.00000000000000', which represents a very accurate, intermediate calculation result, with a fixed number of 14 decimals.
