Definition
The reference date is the base date from which the currency average period (exchange rate average period) is determined.
This field is used as one of two possible ways of determining the currency average period:
- It can be offset to a related date, and a period of time measured in different units can be applied both before and after (the reference date, or offset reference date can also be excluded from the average period, under certain conditions).
- The other way of setting the average period is to set the start and end dates using the 'Fix date from' and 'Fix date to' fields.
You can only enter values in the currency average period fields if an average currency rule has already been entered.
