Definition

This field is used as one of two possible ways to determine the currency average period. It offsets the reference date to a related date. A period of time measured in different units can then be applied to the offset reference date both before and after. The offset reference date can also be excluded from the average period under certain conditions.

The other way of determining the average period is to fix the start and end dates using the 'fix date from' and 'fix date to' fields.

All fields which relate to the currency average period can only be entered if an average currency rule is entered.
