This field contains the number of daily quotation prices used to calculate the average quotation price.
This field is only used and filled in the case of rate based Formula and Average evaluation (new since release 4.6B).

If you average over the 3 quotation prices:
320.00 USD / (1 TO)
400.00 USD / (1 TO)
280.00 USD / (1 TO)
this field contains the value '3'.
