Definition
The unit of measure group allows inventory management in multiple units of measure for a material.
The unit of measure group is assigned to a material at plant level.
Quantities in all of the units of measure assigned to the group are calculated during transactions, and the results are posted to appendix tables in the Material Hierarchy Tables.
Once stock is posted to the material, the UoM group cannot then be changed.
