Definition

You can activate silo management at storage location level with this indicator. There are three options:

1.    No tank creation allowed at this storage location.

  • This is the default value, no tank creation is allowed and therefore no silo management functionality at this location is provided.

2.    Tank creation allowed, not all materials are held in tanks.

  • Silo management is active; no special material movement checks will take place, but movements into tanks will be registered.

3.    Tank creation allowed, all materials are held in tanks.

  • Silo management is active and material movements from/to this location are only allowed for materials that are assigned to a tank that fall within the timestamp (relevant date and time of a material movement) of the goods movement.
