Definition

The conversion method controls the oil quantity conversion calculations that are performed for the material.

The conversion method is set depending on the oil-specific data that is entered in the material master, as described below:

• [] (space) Neither conversion group or tax group maintained
  If the conversion mode is blank standard (no IS-Oil enhancements), routines are used to perform standard quantity conversion calculations.
• 1 Conversion group maintained
  Oil quantity conversion routines defined from the conversion group are used to perform quantity conversions, with conversions being performed for all the units of measure within the unit of measure group.
• 2 Tax group, but no conversion group, maintained
  Standard routines are used to perform the quantity calculations, but conversions are performed for all the units of measure within the unit of measure group.
