Definition

Defines whether the item category (in the specific case) is to be used as part of an Oil bill of material (BOM) or not.

If it is to be used as an Oil BOM, the option exists that the header quantity can consist of the components, or that the header quantity can be entered manually, and thus be independent of the component quantities.

Note: A BOM consists of a header material and component material(s).

If a BOM is to be an Oil BOM, then set the header quantity to 'Oil BOM'. The component item category setting for the Oil BOM is not taken into account here.

Furthermore, when the header material is an HPM material (oil, etc.), the header and component density types (density, relative density, gravity) will have to be the same.
