Definition
Normally, a consistency check is carried out when a quantity schedule is called. This check compares released/received quantities with other data in the system. You can switch off this function by setting the indicator "N". This deactivates the check, which can take time, and if differences are found, no message O1091 appears.
Switching off the check can improve data throughput. One option would be to activate the consistency check in the test/development system but deactivate it in the production system, once all test scenarios have been performed successfully.
Note
Even when the consistency check is switched off, you can check for possible inconsistencies by using the report ROIACM40. This report should be scheduled for a batch periodically, but can run online for limited selections.
