Definition
The department in the work environment specialization table is a particular instance of the work environment. Ideally, an OU should be assigned to the work environments of the IS-H/IS-H*MED clinical work station. This means that a separate work environment is defined for each unit on which the clinical work station is to run.
Similarly, the department can be defined at work environment level. This results in a department-related definition of work environments.
