Definition
In this field, you can specify the standard length of stay of a patient who receives medical care in the main department.
The standard length of stay is determined on the basis of the valuation relation (as defined in amendment 1 and 2 of the German Federal Legislation for Hospitals) and is dependent on the flat rate per case. This entry is not directly used for the billing run but is taken as a basis for comparison for statistical evaluations. (Germany)
