Definition

The status of the message type is used for managing and classifying the current status of a message type. The following values are allowed:

  • Productive: i.e. checked, tested and in use. If you change these message types, you will usually have to change the message types in the receiver system as well.
  • Test: these message types were checked to ensure that they are correct. Thus, they are ready for use.
  • Errored: this message type is deficient and cannot be used for data interchange.
  • Saved: these message types have not been checked and are not in use. They were only temporarily saved to preclude the loss of the previous changes.
