Documentation
Definition
Using this indicator, you can define that, during archiving of vendor settlement documents, no check is made on the use of the documents as part of the sales update in subsequent settlement.
Use
Dependencies
If this indicator is set, then checks that are normally carried out during archiving of the above documents are omitted.
This usually results in improved performance.
On the other hand, in the case of the functions
- Detailed Statement,
- Recreation of Sales Data,
There is a risk that documents may be archived too early, that is, that they are no longer available.
You can switch off the check if, with reference to the sales data, you are not working with vendor settlement documents. Otherwise, you must ensure (for example, by way of adequate residence times) that the documents are not archived too early.
Note:
- Archived documents can no longer be reloaded!
- SAP recommends that you leave the documents in the system until all arrangements have been finally settled!
