Documentation
Definition
You use this indicator to define that purchase orders and scheduling agreements, and all their follow-on documents (goods receipts and invoice verification documents), are not relevant for subsequent settlement.
Use
If you select this indicator, parts of the program that are normally executed when you save the above-mentioned documents are omitted.
This usually improves performance.
However, there is the risk that subsequent settlement functions are not executed as a result of incorrect settings. Usually, it is sufficient to configure a condition record in the document conditions to trigger the required follow-on functions. However, the resulting check of document conditions may be costly.
You can set this indicator if you only use condition records that are independent of business volume.
