Definition

The preregistration type defines how the preregistration is displayed (number of organizational units (OUs), selectable services and tab pages on the Create Preregistration screen). It can be changed while a preregistration is in processing.

This makes it possible to give the preregistration type a semantic content which can then be modified in the preregistration as more precise information on the patient becomes available or when the clinical picture changes. Changing the preregistration type can therefore signify a change to the previously specified treatment OU, services or particular tab pages.
