Definition

Indicator that controls separate valuation of the administrative data update.

• If the indicator is set, the system does not update any administrative data during separate valuation for valuation types (MOFF/MSTA tables).

  This applies particularly to individual batch valuation for batches in a material.

• If the indicator is not set, the system updates the administrative data.

Use

If the material has an extremely large number of valuation types (batches), it can take an extremely long time to update the administrative data for the valuation type (batch). In this situation, SAP recommends deactivating the update to improve system performance. This affects all materials with separate valuation.
