Use

Indicates that the billing document lines of the specified document line type is saved in special files, and in principle is not archived, but rather deleted after bill printout. This process keeps the quantity of data (such as for reversal reasons) low in the system. Archiving can then be executed quicker.

This field has no effect in the following exceptional cases:

• Posting or statistics-relevant billing lines
• Document lines that are subject to a price grouping
• Document lines in which a net amount is entered
• Document lines that contain information about a gross price or a franchise fee

These document lines are generally not deleted, but rather saved in the files to be archived.

A control to see which document lines must be archived, can take place independently of this field in enhancement EBIA0001.
