Definition
Determines that message determination is only called for the first plant in an allocation table item. The other plants (in the same item) are automatically given the same message records as the first plant.
Use
If all the stores receive a notification with the same content, you should set this indicator to avoid impacting performance.
If this indicator is set, message determination is only called for the first plant in an allocation table item.
Note: The first plant is the plant appearing in the first line of the "Plants in item" screen.
The system automatically adopts the message records (NAST records) found in the message determination run for the first plant for all other plants in the same item.
If no message records were found for the first plant during the message determination run, none of the other plants receive any message records.
Notes
- Please note that the system only copies those message records that are found automatically in message determination. Message records entered manually on the "Plant details" screen via the "Messages" button (i.e. by entering a message type or by request a repeat message) are not automatically adopted in the other plants.
- This indicator only affects the plants in an allocation table item. Message determination is called up once for each distribution center for all the distribution centers in an allocation table item.
