Definition

Key, which uniquely identifies a transaction.

Use

There are several ways in which you can determine the transaction code for the required transaction:

  • Use the menu to go to the required transaction. Choose System --> Status. You find the transaction code under the Repository data in the Transaction field.
  • Choose the input help for the Transaction code field. Your personal list of values appears. This list contains the transaction codes that you last activated.
  • Choose the input help for the transaction code field, and then choose Information system. A dialog box appears in which you can search for the required transaction.
  • Choose the input help for the transaction code field, and then choose SAP Applications. The SAP component hierarchy appears. You reach the required transaction by expanding the individual hierarchy levels.
