Definition

Key, which uniquely defines a field on a screen.

Use

You enter values for parameter ID and parameter value only when you want to skip the initial screen when you call the transaction. You use these values to define default values for required fields in the initial screen.

To determine the parameter ID for the required field:

  1. Choose the initial screen of the required transaction, and call the F1 help for the fields that you want to define the default value for.
  2. On the F1 help screen, choose Technical Info.

    On the Technical Info screen, you find the Parameter ID under Field data.

  3. Copy the parameter ID.
