Here you specify the organizational unit to which you wish to assign a specific department status for the basic medical documentation.
Use
The system takes into account the department status for all departments specified here when creating, changing or canceling movements.
Dependencies
Only specify organizational units for which the Departmental Assignment indicator is set in the master data.

Use
Here you can specify the selection criteria for the current departmental assignment of a case.
The current department of a case results from the most recent movement with the status "actual". Absences and discharges are not taken into account.
Procedure
If you only want to select cases of a specific department, specify one or more departments here.

Use
Here you can assign a building unit (for example, a room or a bed location) to a department.
You need the assignment to a department in the bed scheduling function in order to be able to offer all occupiable bed locations in departments that permit inter-departmental bed assignments.
If a building unit is explicitly assigned to a department via the nursing or treatment organizational unit, you do not have to maintain this field.
