Documentation
Definition
Specification of the lowest permitted status number of the case status for the basic medical documentation (case status).
Use
When you set the last department status of the basic medical documentation from "open" to "closed", the system checks the status number of the current case status of the case. If the status number of the case status of the case is lower that the status number you have specified here, the system changes the case status of the case to the case status that has the status number entered here. If the case status of the case has a higher status number, the system retains the case status of the case.
For more information about the status number, see the Section entitled Define Status Profiles in the IS-H Implementation Guide.
Dependencies
Example
You enter the status number '20' (case status "To Be Checked") in this field. The case still has an open department status and the case status "In Process" with the status number '10'. You set the last department status to "complete". The system determines that the status number of the case status of the case is lower than the status number specified in this field. It consequently sets the case status of the case to "To Be Checked" with the status number specified here '20'.
If the case already has the case status "complete" with the status number '30', the system retains the case status of the case.
