Definition
In this field, a file extension can be specified that is assigned to the component in the registration. Example: In the registration, Winword is assigned the file extension ".DOC". If a file extension has been registered, it is not necessary to determine where this application is stored before starting this application. In this case, it is sufficient to only know the correct path of the document to be edited. The component is automatically started, when a registered document is opened.
