Definition

The external data module provides external data to the defaults of the documentation elements. The default is defined when a document is created, copied or by selecting the menu item: Document -> Preset default.

A default module normally requires a Query module and a ToText- and

ToTab module, and in some exceptional cases, (e.g. if the contents of the document master records or of the system variable are being prepared) a ToText module or a ToTab module will be required also.
