Documentation
Definition
In the field 'Fixed parameter', information for controlling the processing of external data modules can be deposited when creating the external data module and when the external data is integrated in the abstract or concrete design. The type of information, the form, and the time of the task are characteristics of the respective external data module.
A dialog screen for entering the fixed parameter strings can be implemented for every external data module by using the Paramstring module. A structure for redefining the fixed parameter strings can also be created for every external data module in the field ParamStruktur.
The fixed parameters entered will be transferred to the function modules of the external data module via the interface parameters PARAMSTR or QUERYPARAMSTR. The fixed parameters that were entered in the element list in the detail screen will have priority. They are only effective if they were maintained before the dialog application was generated.
