Definition
The line reference (LINEREF) contains the reference key of the individual line or individual object for Reference tables that contain the references of the source data of multiple documentation elements supplied with external data.
For changing external data modules, the line reference must be a component of the interface table through which external data are transferred to or from an external data module, or which is defined by the DD structure which is assigned to the external data module. Like the Reference key, the line reference must be determined by the processing programs of the external data module. For this, the number range object ISH_N2DOKR can also be used.
The line reference is not required for reference tables which contain references to link objects.
