Definition
The Reference for diagnostic certainty of a diagnosis is used for statistical purposes. It is only relevant for diagnoses that were coded using the ICD-10 diagnosis coding catalog.
The following values are permitted:
- V Tentative diagnosis or diagnosis to be excluded
- Z (asymptomatic) disposition after the diagnosis concerned
- A excluded diagnosis
- blank = no reference
