Definition
Change modules allow later changes to be made to external data using external data modules which are linked as external data into the current document. Until now, this feature was only implemented for Fixed entities. Saving of the external data takes place immediately before the document data themselves are saved. Calling an external data module as a modifier is activated with the option 'Change' in the external data integration.
Change modules must normally also be
Reference modules, because it is usually necessary to link the external data to be processed with the corresponding document data.
Beyond the function modules that are required for a Default and Reference module, a change module usually also requires a Save and a FromText or FromTab module. Additionally, an XCode module and a Check-value module can be implemented.
