Documentation
Definition
The Planning Authority for Day Program Inactive indicator specifies whether a planning authority defined at day program level is deactivated for a specific day and a specific organizational unit.
Use
Planning authorities can be defined on two levels:
- As static information on day program level. This definition determines permanently valid time windows within which a planning authority can book appointments in the available time slot of a planning object.
- In daily operation, you can orient the planning authority towards your requirements and therefore override the definition at day program level for individual days. You can use the Planning Authority for Day Program Inactive indicator to deactivate the defined planning authority for a specific day at day program level.
Dependencies
The planning authority for a planning organizational unit in the available time slot of a planning object on a specific day is either
- completely defined by a statically defined planning authority or
- completely determined by a day-related planning authority.
A hybrid of planning authority for the day program and day-related planning authority for a specific planning organizational unit, a specific planning object on a specific day is not intended.
Example
Normally the General Surgery organizational unit has planning authority in OR 1 of the central surgery area. General Surgery therefore has planning authority in the day program of OR 1.
Tomorrow, however, Cardiac Surgery requires OR 1. To prevent General Surgery from planning surgeries in OR 1, the surgery coordinator deactivates the planning authority for General Surgery in OR 1 for tomorrow.
