Definition
By specifying a period in months, the maintenance (for display) period controls how long a service which was already performed, is displayed in the system or is to be included in further actions (for example, when requesting a a service, the services within the period are displayed).
Example
If the results of a thoracic service should be valid for six (6) months, "6" is entered in this field, thus preventing, for example, a thoracic service from being re-requested within this period.
