Definition
Specifies the organizational unit (OU) at which the patient was or should be admitted.
Use
The current organizational unit of the admission is determined as follows:
- If the patient admision has already been entered, this field contains the organizational unit at which the patient was or should be admitted (actual admission or planned admission).
- If the patient has not yet been admitted, this field contains the organizational unit for which the appointment is preregistered. If, however, no appointment was preregistered, this field contains no organizational unit (empty).
