Definition

You can enter the reasons for associated or continued treatment in this field.

If the field is not long enough, choose Select on the field to access the long text editor, where you can enter a text of any length.

Dependencies

You can enter the order text in this field for referral certificates in PPA billing in the German country version.

Four fields are available for the order text. Please note that you should only enter the order text in one of the following fields. The system evaluates the fields in the following order:

  • Ordered Service
  • Consultation Reason
  • Continued Treatment Reason
  • Comment

Once the system determines an order text, it does not evaluate the following fields.

The system transfers the order text to the PPA billing system under the ADT field ID 4205 (order) during PPA billing.
Enter the diagnosis/diagnoses, findings, and medication in the Diagnosis/Tentative and Findings/Medication fields.

Caution

If you are processing a referral certificate from a previous quarter, you may need to enter the entire referral text including the diagnosis/diagnoses and the findings/medication in the field for the order text. This applies to the following referral certificates:

  • All referral certificates up to and including first quarter, 2011
  • Referral certificates for lab tests (certificate subgroup 27 pattern 10) up to and including fourth quarter, 2011.
    Do not make any entries in the Diagnosis/Tentative and Findings/Medication fields for these referral certificates.

The system transfers the full referral text to the PPA billing system under the ADT field ID 4209 during PPA billing.
