Use of the key figure for analysis purposes
The table is read during the availability check.
The number of records with stock allows you to estimate the use of special stock in the system examined. The more records it contains, the more important it is to have a detailed analysis of the table contents.
Notes for optimization
There are two points to consider for optimization:
a)What is the relationship between records with stock and records without stock? If more than 20% of the records have no stock, then you should refer to the documentation for the key figure 'Records without stock'.
b)Detailed analyses may be necessary for a large number of records with stock, independent of point a. These are offered in the detailed tree for this key figure.
