Defining a manipulation rule for recovery indicators to be used in CO allocations like assessment, distribution or settlement is a two-step process:
Level 1. Create the manipulation rule and assign global parameters to it
Level 2. Assign specific manipulation rules for individual recovery indicators
When a CO allocation is processed, such a manipulation rule is used to derive a recovery indicator.
First, the system checks, if an individual recovery indicator handling is specified (Level 2). If this is not the case, then the system applies the derivation setting of the global parameters (Level 1).
In the latter case, the message type indicator determines, if the system should issue a message and/or post the corresponding document.
