Definition

• Comparison date for determining transactions in the past period
• Price determination date for revaluation

Use

Whether a settled goods receipt or a settled service falls in the pre-determined past period depends on the date that the selection is compared with. There are a total of three dates in the original goods receipt that the system can use here.

• Posting date
• Entry date (CPU date)
• Delivery note date (external document date)

You choose one of these to specify which date should be used for selection. The default value is the posting date. Then the price determination is also called up using the date selected.

Dependencies

As of Release 4.0, the price determination date can be influenced by a user exit. If the user exit is activated, in contrast to the logic described above, you can again change the price determination date with this.
