Definition

This determines how the system deals with manually entered results analysis data.

Use

You can enter results analysis data manually in order to:

  • Transfer data from another system
  • Manually change data that was calculated automatically by the system

Procedure

Examples

Dependencies

The mode is set with the following indicators in Customizing:

  • Legacy data transfer in the Extended Control of the results analysis version
  • Manual results analysis in the Expert Mode of the valuation method

If the Legacy data transfer indicator is set in the results analysis version, the system treats the manually entered data as if it had been calculated automatically.

If the Legacy data transfer indicator is not set, the Manual results analysis indicator in the valuation method determines how the data is handled.

  • If the indicator is set to "E" (manual change), the values entered manually serve to adjust the values calculated by the system.

When results analysis is performed again, the manually changed values in the closed periods are automatically canceled.

The manually changed values in the open periods do not affect automatic results analysis.

  • If the indicator is set to "Z" (manual addition), the manually entered values do not affect automatic results analysis.
