In this field the main diagnosis is entered. The main diagnosis is the diagnosis connected to the main operation.
The used code for the diagnosis is the ICD code, which is not necessarily entered by the user since some hospitals use their own or other catalogues. To be able to convert a diagnosis from another catalogue to a diagnosis code from the ICD catalogue, the corresponding codes from different catalogues must have been related to each other with customizing.
