Definition
Amount of the accumulated provisions for accrued income not dissolved (that is, reversed or released) within the framework of the settlement run (that is to say, this amount is still open).
Use
Within the framework of "subsequent settlement" (Purchasing), provisions for accrued income can be posted for conditions. The amounts of the provisions are updated within the statistics of the Logistics Information System.
Using provisions for accrued income, the current material price valuation can be adjusted to reflect the rebate (retrospective volume discount) income expected to be received in the course of end-of-period settlement.
A precondition is that the indicator "Provision" has been activated for the condition type in Customizing.
In the course of settlement accounting, payment etc., with regard to a condition record, the cumulative provisions for accrued income are dissolved (reversed/released). In the case of an advance interim settlement, however, the maximum amount is equal to the amount of the rebate income achieved.
Any non-dissolved amount that may exist at the time of an advance interim settlement is shown in this field.
